  1. more is not always better.  too much of certain supplements are toxic, while others won't harm you but do not necessarily benefit you.

keep in mind that some 'real medicines' are made with herbs, so combining the two could cause and overdose.

you really need to know what you're doing.  natural doesn't mean safe.  ephedra for example is not safe and in folks with heart problems, can be deadly.

you need to look up each.  it's always a good idea to run them by your doc.

  2. Depends on what you are taking....a good rule of thumb is to research each supplement BEFORE beginning it, make sure to read about side effects, drug interactions, and possible overdose effects.

  3. That could be the case.  You will have more of a toxicity problem with taking vitamins and minerals in the wrong form.

If they are not in a form that is easily used by the body, then they can build up in your system if your body can't get rid of it.

This can cause a toxicity problem.

Liquid is best for absorption and the way nature intended the nutrients and minerals to be delivered.

  4. supplements are not substitutes and too much of everything can be harmfull, lookup the vitamins websites for overdosage

  5. It depends on what it is. For some things, there are known toxic levels. For others, what happens is that you create an imbalance, which is now a toxic situation. You can even drink too much water, mess up your electrolites and actually die. The point is, if you are taking large quantities of something, make sure that you have reliable information that you are within a safe limit, or taking these within a safe timeframe. Otherwise, yes, you can put yourself at risk.

  6. I have done a lot of reasearch and found that the supplements at this site are of the highest grade and I use them and I feel great. http://www.healthy-body-ingredients.com
