Question about tampons and sports.?

so i wear tampons but i also have volleyball everyday.

i heard that during your period your not suppose to excersize a lot.

but your still suppose to stay active.

i have volleyball twice a day, 30 minute break in between. which is 4 hours of practice, is it really bad to do that much practice when on your period? if so, what do i do.

also, when i have just the first practice, right away i can feel the tampon like slipping down within the first hour, and we have no bathroom brakes until that 30 minutes, and its really uncomfortable. what do i do?

  1. Try to put the tampon in a little bit further and also buy a tampon that is designed for people that do sports. Like, Tampax Sport, they work really well when you have to be athletic.


  2. any one who says you are not supposed to exercise during your period, unless you have a secondary medical condition is wrong.

    Exercise is good and can reduce cramping.

    Try Platex sport tampons, they are the most comfortable I have ever used and if you have a leakage worry use a thin maxi pad with the tampon

  3. no its totally fine to work out while your on your period. as for the comfort and slippage you might want to try the playtex sport tampons for more comfort and better protection.  

  4. you can always excersize alot on your period it doesnt matter

    use playtex sport its the best! i use it for cheer and we do like flips and stunts and stuff.
