Hi, my little one is 3 months old. She has hard gums, keeps chewing on her hands, just started sucking her thumb and drooling. But she also seems cranky and paler than usual. Is this possibly a symptom of teething?

  1. yeah use some good teething gel and infant paracetamol when she gets hot

  2. Yep! My 3 month old is doing the same exact thing and he is teething.  He is a big ball of drool thats for sure! been having to put oragel on his gums. Its weird though because his top teeth are coming in first.

  3. hmm the crankyness is yes very usual but the paleness is different maybe it is because baby's skin is very fragil if she is crawling or laying on the floor there might be something on your florr or in your carpet like mold or bugs

  4. It sounds like she is teething. My daughter who is 8 months now got her first tooth around 4 month. Her gums were red and swollen....and lots of drool. However, I would recommend to take your baby to the pediatrician to make sure that she is okay since I'm not a doctor. If it is teething than ask your doctor if you can give her baby Tylenol, allow her to chew on a cool teething ring, and/or clean wash cloth.
