Question about tenant I need to evict(California)?

Hi guys, how many days does a person have to live at a house before I have to legally evict them.I think in California it's like three days.She has paid no rent no key no lease just a loser on my couch.Help me please.

It doesn't matter how long they have lived there.  It only matters if they have paid you in full.  If not you can evict them.  Unless you promised them something and you didn't deliver. Then the judge would let them pay less and leave.

I would tell her to leave.

If that didn't work, I would call the police and tell them that she just moved into your house.

She didn't pay rent or anything and is just there against your will.

Surely you wouldn't have to pay to have a squatter evicted?

I thought it takes about 30 days.

First is to send the notice immediately.

If the tenant is not out within 30 days, then the police will remove them for you.

If you let them in it is 14 days.   Prior to that they are a guest and the police will help them on their way.

If she broke in and you never invited her in you can have her arrested for trespassing.

After 14 days she can literally force you to give her a key, she lives there.
