rugby union is on tv in the usa now at setanta and versus. rugby league does not have a world gup yet. versus shows some shows on russell crowe's rugby league team starting this month.

I think (and I'm very confident because I saw the broadcasting rights before)The 2008 World Cup will be broadcasted in:

Australia on Channel Nine

England on BBC

United States on Setana Sports

As for the rest, I am not sure. I'm assuming it'll be on Sky in New Zealand.
