Are they similar. Is it true that the ACT is based more around English, while the SAT is based more on Math? Should i give the ACT a whack too?

  1. I couldn't say for sure about concentrations, but I can tell you that I found the ACT much more practical and much easier. They have a science section that the SAT lacks, but almost all of the necessary information is given to you, you just need to decipher it. The math was more on-level with the other areas and the writing was very similar to the SAT essay section.

Overall, I'd absolutely recommend taking the ACT, just to see how you do. Some colleges actually prefer that over the SAT these days, so it really couldn't hurt at all. See how your scores compare.

    Good luck.

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  3. The ACT is on Critical Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. The SAT is on Critical Reading, Writing, and Math. Both have an essay. Definately take the ACT. It is easier than the SAT. On the ACT my scores were above average, whereas my SAT scores were average. It'll definately benefit you. I recommend taking the SAT's first, though, because it'll only make the ACT look easier. Good luck!

  4. Wrong. The SAT is based more on English (2/3 of it is English), while the ACT is only 1/2 English. You should probably take them both so you can apply to a wider variety of schools!

Lots of people I know think that the ACT is easier (including myself), so you might end up doing really well on it. Good luck!

  5. similar..why not give it a try?
