Question about the Caylee case?

How come the Caylee case is getting so much attention? I mean I really hope they find her, and it is all so sad and shocking. I really hope she is alive, even though it doesnt look like thats the case. Anyway, my point is that children go missing everyday, however I don't hear about one of those kids. Im not saying that Caylee doesnt deserve this attention, she deserves it, she deserves to be home and safe and a healthy happy kid. I am saying that other children don't get search parties after them, they dont get media coverage so people will recognize them if they see them. Someone else pointed this out too, but you will never see a hispanic, asian, or black child get this much attention if anything happens to them. I remember Elizabeth Smart, Natalie Holloway, Jonbenet Ramsey, and now Caylee. What about all the other children? Shouldnt we be improving our system to protect and help all children?

Yes we should be improving our system on many levels, but the children is a very good place to start.

ALL missing children deserve the same media attention.  Unfortunately, usually only the sensational ones get the media attention...Caylee's case has been run nonstop on Nancy Grace, People magazine, etc.

Because to be frank - children of other ethnic groups know not to s***w around with their parents, and the parents always keep track of them. The Caylee case is getting so much attention because the news knows that America cares more about a little girl who is missing more than saving the millions of starving children in India, Africa, etc. Also, what about the children soldiers and the s*x slaves surfacing around? I bet they had a worse childhood than most people who grew up in America. But yet, America just wants to know what's wrong with a girl who is just the 'Average Jane' so to speak.
