Question about the Smart Parts Ion paintball gun???

I have a regular 20 oz. Co2 Tank. Will my Ion fire on that and is that okay to use on the smart parts ion?? becuase i was reading somthing and it said it needs anti siphon Co2 or somthing like that?? thanks.

  1. I own several ions and other markers.  

    You shouldn't use just a regular Co2 tank.  it is very bad for the guns internals and board.  It messes up the filter and can freeze and brake the hoses.  

    for Co2 use ani-syphon.  Best bet is compressed air.  much better for gun and will help your play.


  2. Compressed air is without a doubt better for your gun in every way. It is much better to use a compressed air tank for your Ion. It is better for the internals and will last you longer. Many playing fields offer free air, while they charge for Co2. I strongly recommend buying a compressed air tank. An Ion is not a piece of c**p gun and is worthy of higher level equipment to go with it.
