It just seemed odd to me that two outsiders would just waltz in there and kill the president of the student body. What are the odds of that. It was said to be a random killing. Her name was Eve Carson and 10,000 were reported to be at a memorial service for her.

She wasn't killed on campus. She was killed in her neighborhood, which is known to be a wealthy area. The two guys who killed her were after her car and wallet, which of course they got after shooting her.
