i need to know which blood vessel is involved in heart attacks? thankyou in advance :)

  1. Usually the arteries that give blood to the heart are involved.

    These are called "coronary" arteries, and there are several branches (e.g., left anterior descending, or LAD, that feeds the very important left ventricle) that go to each part of the muscle, atria and ventricles.


  2. Exactly as the above author pointed out, the LAD has the ominous moniker, "The Widow Maker" as it often is the culprit in many massive AMIs.
