Question about the listeriosis outbreak?

ok well heres my questions :P plz give lots of info!

1. whats was the kind of meat? like was it only delli foods? or was it put in hamburger in mcdonalds?

2. were where the most outbreaks? what province?

3. when was it started and shipped.

im freaking out o.O

  2. Hey, so not really sure about the outbreak, but someone already touched that.

    Listeriosis is caused by the bacteria Listeria and listeria is one of the only crazy bacteria that can grow at fridge temp and so it really only causes problems in deli meats and soft cheeses.  It is easily killed, just simply heat the meat up, grill, steam, anything.

    So it really shouldn't cause any problems in hamburger meat that is good fully.
