Question about the new iPhone!?

My cousin's from Canada and he wants to buy the new iPhone from here, America, because he says the plan/contract over there sucks. The thing is, they have a new policy here that forces you to do a two year contract with AT&T when you purchase the iPhone. Has anyone managed to buy the new iPhone 3G without doing this?

You need to sign up for the 2-years contract with AT&T. If you want to use the phone in Canada, then you need to get the unlocked iPhone. If you need unlocked iPhone, you can mail me or talk with me on Yahoo!
