  1. I don't think it's possible for the Yankees just to 'trade for Zambrano'.  Why would the cubs do that?

If you are looking for an ace pitcher down the stretch (or to sign), they are going to say they want something that Yankees (and their fans) don't want to give up.

I think that when the Yankees decided not to trade for Santana, it signaled a time that they are expecting to retool and probably, on the outside expect to make the playoffs, but internally, it would just be a plum, not a reasonable expectation.

I think they are stuck piecing together pitchers like Eric Milton, Sidney Ponson.  No one is giving them something for nothing.

  2. neither they should wait till their big hitters start to come up big and start to hit and just hope their pitching holds for the rest of the season.

  3. Pitching is the biggest problem the Yankees have. Zambrano would be perfect

  4. I think they need more than one starter, but thats only my opinion, and I'm just an @$$hole that roots for the Mets.

  5. I think they need to go for relief pitching but that is just my opinion.

  6. they always go for offense when they need pitching member the 90's?

  7. Take Zambrano and Fukedome and any other Cub you want!

  8. The Cubs have locked Zambrano up and he's not going anywhere.

Their offense is fine with the exception of the bottom of the order. If they get any pitching it will more than likely be in the off-season when both Sheets and Sabathia are shopping for the highest bidders.
