Question about these over the knee socks, I bought?

I went out mall shopping last night with my new over the knee argyle socks, with a denim mini skirt and some black stilletto pumps. My husband said the outfit made me look very available, which I guess it did...and he suggested I wear a different pair of shoes out. Of course I did not listen and wore my stilettos out anyway, but any ideas what other types of shoes might work with these socks for next time? TIA! Here is a link to the socks

tell your husband that you can wear what ever you want to wear! also, a pair of brown pumps. lol
