this online school offers an associates with degree in business administration with concentration in criminal justice.

  1. They are probably trying to create something akin to an associate's degree in public administration by concentrating on the business aspects of criminal justice administration.

    This would be different than a degree in criminal justice intended to prepare those who will become law enforcement or corrections officers.  This is for people that want to become involved in the more administrative functions of the system such as human resources, financial management, supervision, etc...

    We'd have to see the degree requirements to know for certain.

  4. It means that the courses will be mainly focused on criminal justice and will touch on a general overall insight to business practices in such things as general accounting practices and an overview of how business practices work.

    If you aren't planning on entering the fields of law enforcement or private investigation, I would probably suggest trying a different school.

    It sounds like it may just be a way of offering a certificate level in CJ using their BA program.
