Question about thyroid disease?

I have Graves' disease and hyperthyroidism. I went to the doc's today, and my height is 5'3 1/4. Last time, it was 5'4, and that was 3 weeks ago. I'm just wondering if the disease could cause me to shrink in height, or maybe I wasn't standing back at the height wall further enough? I'm 16.

Did you wear the same shoes each time? Or it may have been later in the day & you can be off 1/4 of an inch at the end of the day.
