Question about time travel and causality... Read on if interested...?

If we were to assume that the Multiple Worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics was factual, wouldn't this solve the problem causality, or the "Grandfather Paradox"? If the universe was truly branching out at every instant, then by travelling back in time, wouldn't you just be transporting yourself into a different dimension which would have no effect on the dimension you just left? (Yes I know time travel isn't physically possible, but I just read an article about Einstien's theory of black-hole/white-hole time travel where he said it was mathmatically possible at least.)
