  1. You will need a picture id issued from the a state ( driver's license) along with your birth certificate or a passport.I'm pretty sure they wont let you even on the boat without them

  2. As far as a passport taking a long time, it is depending on where you live. The process WAS taking quite a while because everyone was in a RUSH to get them, but mine took 2 weeks and it was not expedited. Still, you should start the process NOW!

OF COURSE you need some kind of ID, Driver's Licence and Birth Certificate. If you are under 16, then just b.c.

  3. Yes, you would need your Birth Certificate and Drivers License or a passport.  I have cruised several times.  :-)

  4. You will need a passport as proof of identity to go through customs and to get onto the ship.

The rules have changed for US citizens entering and leaving the US.

  5. Yes, you will need a photo ID and starting January 1, 2008 all persons entering the US must have a valid passport.  You will be required to show your passport when you check in at the port.

  6. You need a passboard to travel to the carribean, howevwe you only need to show when you get on board.  Once on board you room key card becomes your id.

  7. Yes, before you go you need your driver's license or State Id, and until Dec 31st, a CERTIFIED copy of your Birth Certificate. (meaning, one that has the raised seal on it.)

After Dec 31st you are going to have to have a passport.< This process takes a long time, and costs about 100.00 dollars, it is going to go up to 300.00 next year some time. The passport is only good for  think 5 or so years, and then needs to be replaced. Weather you use it during that time or not.We just got back from their this Oct.

  8. yes. u need to get a passport. u should get it asap. because it takes about 4-6 months supposedly.

  10. well i went on a cruise to the carribbean last year or so and no..i didnt need one..but i guess to be safe, you should bring one just incase because if you did end up needing it, you wouldnt be in the greatest situation..

  13. Of course you will need ID to cruise to the Caribbean.  Unless you are driving to the cruise port, you will first need ID to board the airplane.  Secondly, at check-in for the cruise, you will be asked for ID.  A passport is the best.  You will then be photographed for your keycard ID.  When you get off the ship in different ports, you must have your keycard ID and passport.
