Question about underwater cases?

Has anyone here experimented with digital camera underwater shooting and know about underwater cases? If so, what type do you use, the one specifically designed for your camera or one designed for a specific line of cameras including yours?

I need one for my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H7 camera but the only one specifically designed for it is twice more expensive than the camera. I found a couple more for the Sony Cyber-Shot line of digitial cameras but I think it might be riskier than the one for H7.

Any help is welcome.

I have a waterproof camera.  I bought it for other reasons, but I have played with the underwater capability.  Since mine is an actual underwater camera, it has special modes in the menu to shoot still images and video underwater.  The microphone even picks up sound just fine underwater.  It's the Pentax Optio W10 by the way.  I was lucky to be able to buy it for under $200.

As long as the waterproof case works and the camera is usuable it should be ok.  Your camera is nice and big, so it's a little trickier getting a cheap waterproof housing than if you had a compact digital camera.  

By the way, one alternative would be the buy a underwater camera.  Waterproof cameras are not cheap and aren't nearly as nice as yours.

Of course, you could just buy an Olympus Stylus 850SW (8mp) which is waterproof to 10 feet and shockproof to a 5 foot drop or the 1030SW (10.1mp) which is waterproof to 33 feet and shockproof to a 6 foot drop.
