Question:

Question about vampires?

Is there anyway a vampire could reproduce... I mean, I hear their bodies are dead, so they can't, but in the Blade trilogy, all "pure" bloods are 'born,' vampires.

As corney and cliche as it sounds, I want to include a single vampire into my novel who was born a vampire. I don't want him to have been changed since he's the son of their leader.

Please no harsh answers, I just want to know if it's possible. And if it is, how is it possible?

  1. Vampires cannot reproduce according to folklore. But, since its your book, you can do whatever you want. As you pointed out, Blade did it.

  2. I kno what u mean that that son or daughter that was born a vampire would be the ultimate or something??? well you can always have them try a third party like a human girl that is injected by both there sperm i dont kno... this  ones a toughie or have them just be it like it jesus christ or something...

  3. Depending on when you set your novel, you could always have him cloned or perhaps impregated into and hosted by some unfortunate who he then bursts out of in a bloody spray (cf. Alien).  Not exactly born, but certainly a vamp from day 1.

  4. In my book I've made that Vampires can reproduce once, and that is all their imortal shells can have.

But they can creat fledgings at random pick

  5. I could tell you, but im not going to. Do you know why?  I asked a simple question, SIMPLE, and you act like I would want to steal your idea's. B-I-T-C-H

  6. Your story luv.... :0)
