im a teenage boy and my doctor is a woman, I want to ask her a question about my p***s and I know she'll have to take a look at it and I've come to terms with that, but my questionis about my erection, so will I have to get an erection? will I just stand there with my pants down saying "ok just wait a minute it will happen soon, im just a bit nervous" ...????

this is no joke! please both men and women answer! ...especially if you're a female doctor

  1. Chances are that she'll only need to ask you questions (Santita's correct below: answer honestly and be *very* specific)... but she *might* want to take a look at your p***s if she's never seen it before - just to make sure it's normal.

She *won't* need or ask to look at your erect p***s, and if you happen to *get* hard while you're in there (damned unlikely, and it's never happened to me - not even with the *gorgeous* lady doctor I had for years in my 20s), she'll just ignore it.

  2. have you tried looking your symptoms up on web md? sometimes they give you very helpful information and can then give you an idea of what to expect at the doctors office.

  3. YOU CAN FIND OUT PRETTY MUCH ANY INFORMATION YOU NEED ON THE INTERNET, IF YOU THINK YOU NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION FOR YOUR PROBLEM,ASK YOUR PARENTS TO FIND YOU A MALE DR. IF IT WOULD MAKE YOU MORE COMFORATABLE...BUT TRUST ME, IF YOU DO HAVE TO SEE A WOMAN DR. SHE HAS SEEN IT  AND HEARD IT ALL BEFORE SO THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO FEL EMBARRASSED, AND NO, SHE WILL NOT NEED TO SEE YOU WITH AN ERECTION.

  4. Please don't be nervous, female doctors see their patients as patients and focus their attention to your questions and needs, not the funny side to it. If they do see a funny side to everything, wouldn't you be hearing the doctor laughing on their backs? Trust me, there are worst (and funnier) patients out there. But doctors in general are trained to be objective.

When asking whatever question it is you have, be very specific, and I mean, VERY SPECIFIC. It is hard to figure out the problem when you try to conceal words or details.

Lastly, don't be nervous. Doctors are trained to see the human body and treat it. It's okay.
