Question:

Question about wearing a preserved wedding dress

My sister's Vera Wang dress has been in a windowless box for 12 years. Should I have it dry cleaned when I open it? Or just steam pressed? Is there anything I need to do specially because it's been in a sealed box? And will it last "un-preserved" during the 8 months in between when I open it and my wedding?
