  1. Well for the camera it is aloud just try not to bring alot of stuff for the camera that kinda pisses of the TSA people.

Now for boarding.... If its in the country (domestic) you should be there anywhere between an hour to an hour and a half ahead of time, just because you never know what could happen. If it's International be there 2 to 2 and half ahead of time because they like to check you twice as much for those.

    Have a nice flight....

  2. Yes, you can take your camera in your carry on, you'll have to take it out of your bag when you go through security.

It really depends on how long your plane trip is, but I would be there at about 9:00 at least.

  3. Be there at least an hour before your boarding time.  At that time in the day, you might want to be there 2 hours early.  If you're early, so what, but if you're late, there is nothing you can do but fork out more money for another flight.  Cameras can be taken on the plane with you, but you are going to be asked to have it off during take off and landing.

  4. I like to try to get to the airport at LEAST an hour before my flight so I can get through security ok and everything. But every airport is different, so sometime an hour is too much. It depends on how big the airport is. The bigger the airport, the more time you'll need because the more people there are checking in and going through security.

You can carry on your digital camera. You can even use it on the plane. If you use an older camera with film, you must check the film in another bag or the xray will expose it all. If you have a laptop in your carry-on,  you'll have to take it out of your bag at security. Also, don't forget about the liquid policies.

  5. Camera, no problem - though you may have to show it working, not just a shell packed with explosives!

Aim to be there two hours before take off.

In case of travel delays and lengthy security checks.

  6. You can bring pretty much anything through security/on the plane except for your own food & beverages (if you bring bottled water, for instance, you'll have to throw it away).  Also any liquids (mostly lotions, cosmetics, etc.) have to be less than 3 oz in size and fit into a 1-quart plastic zip-lock bag.  Sometimes they are very strict about this - for instance sometimes even MASCARA can count as a "liquid".  Othertimes, not so much.

For domestic flights try to be INSIDE the airport (in other words: parked) at least 1 hour before the plane takes off (for your flight - 10:15AM).  For international, sometimes better to leave a little extra time.  If you are late just tell the people at security and sometimes they will let you go through first.

  7. Yes you can bring your digital camera on a plane, as well as a laptop, ipod, cd player etc. However, you can only use these devices when you are up in the air. The flight attendants usually announce when you are allowed to use them.

About the time, usually you need to be two hours at the airport before your flight for domestic flights and three hours before for international flights. Check with your airline to be sure.
