  1. Gondor!

  2. Pedestrians always have right of way irrespective of whether it is an intersection or the middle of the road, whether they obeying the crosswalk signs or not.

The parent or guardian of the 5 year old can be held responsible if the child is unattended where theer is traffic, but the person whose car strikes the child could be charged with manslaughter or worse.

  3. Pedestrians always have the right of way and a 5 year old should not be by themselves anyway.

  4. He/she should have been taught by a parent or guardian.  If not, then the child should be under supervision and not be allowed to approach the intersection alone.  In general though, I would teach the child if there is car is moving towards you, stay out of the street!

  5. First off one of his parants better be with him. the kid is only 5 yrs. old he should not be walking by himself for aleast 2 more years. Then he will know what to do.

  6. Pedestrians have the right away at a stop sign, and at the red light you have to teach them that cars may turn, but if opposin traffic has a green light, than you can cross. Teach them some rules of the road.
