and i dont see how people actually drink that stuff its harsh.

  1. No, you haven't done anything "bad".  Now, go see the dentist and have your toofer fixed.

  2. Yes, it still gets into your blood stream, but no, you didn't do anything "bad". Alcohol, when used for medicinal purposes (such as your aching tooth) is okay. Just be careful not to do too often, as someone will accuse you of drinking, even if you're not.

Alcohol is a good "fix", but only for a short time. As soon as you can get into a dentist's office, the better. He or she will be able to determine what the problem is and will do what needs to be done to fix it for good.

Tooth aches are the worst. Labor pains are easy, in comparison.

And I totally agree... whiskey is VERY harsh. It's kind of like drinking beer or wine... it's an acquired taste. If you never acquire that taste, you'll be better off. lol

  3. I am a Certified Medical Assistant

No it is not the same thing and no it is not absorbed into the blood stream

  4. It's possible for some alcohol to be absorbed sublingually but not enough to feel any effects at all. Although I wouldnt drive, you'd at least set off a breathalyser (NSW law, no alcohol at all for L plates, dunno about anywhere else).
