Question about wirelss adapter for computers

right now we have a linksys router and i have a linksys wireless adapter on my pc but if i were to go out and a buy a mac to use instead could i still use the linksys adapter on my mac or would it not work?

  1. more then likely the mac is going to have a built in wireless card, but to answer the question if its a USB adapter yes but if it and expansion slot card then no cause laptops don't had slots like that. Also brandname isn't suppose to matter so you can use other brand of adapters with your router though i prefer linksys


  2. Yes it would work as long as you have the correct driver for the MAC
