  1. Britain just raised their deffences I supposed. But it is rumoured that no spies ever landed in Britain during ww2.

    When you think about it, it would be to dangerous to since the london bombings happening. But this was only rumoured their could have been spies all along.

    Spies search for information. Some of it military, but also about currency, current stamps, id documents, moods of the population - anything worth of interest for their country. Some of it illegal, some of it legal.

    Finding information about troops movements is illegal. Sending a banknote or stamp to a neutral country is not.

  3. Spies did land in England during Ww2. Look at the spy Zig Zag. An english men who went to Germany became a soy captured by the British, became a spay for the Brits and leaked fake information. He was awarded the Iron Cross a German medal. Before D-Day man German spies were captured and worked for the British. They leaked info to. There was alot of Spies during ww2
