Question about writing articles for magazines?

I'm wondering if when I write articles in a magazine, if/how I should list sources from web pages, or things like encyclopedias, for the facts of my article. I've looked in regular magazines, and they seem to list no sources.

I write all the time for mags and other editorials.

First, get back copies from library and look on line to see what they had already in article section.

Check word count and also check with editor as well.  If you do this first, then you will know if you can list them.  At the end of each article you usually can.
