Question bout ear piercing?

im a guy, 15 years old

im goin to get my left ear pierced with a gun

and im really scared cuz some people got infections on their ear

and i dont want to get that

how do i avoid an infection

I pierce ears. You have to leave the earring in for 6 weeks and clean it 2-3 times everyday. Make sure you clean out any shampoo that has gotten into when washing your hair. And rotate(twist) the earring at least once everyday. Hope this helps=)!

guns are bad. you can get a high risk of infection with it. i would recommend using a needle instead. it's more safe. also get a professional to do it.

Adding to the #1 answer, when you use the cleansing solution on your earring, make sure you turn the earring a little bit each time. That way it gets on the whole inside of the hole in your ear

make sure at first you clean your ear everyday. leave it in for 3 months at least. make sure you always clean your earring before you put it in.
