i had to have an abortion in early february (my reason are my own so don't ask), i'm still lactating a little bit. mm, i think that's the right word. anyway, i was just wonderin how long do woman usually 'leak' colostrum after a pregnancy is over?

  1. When you say "leak", do you mean from engorgement, or you can express a little.  It's normal to express a little for up to a year sometimes.  But if your b*****s are full of milk and spraying/leaking out, you might want to get a hold of an herbalist.  If your other baby is still nursing, you'll have colostrum for months sometimes.


  2. i would say wait a couple of months, i had a micarriage at 16 weeks and i originally had no signs of colostrum, but after i lost the baby, i needed a partial abortion and i started leaking...it lasted for 3 months, im guessing ur bodys a little confused as mine was, but ask ur doc, cuz if its an issue, and ur not breastfeeding ur other child, there are medications to stop the lactation process

  3. How close were you to your due date? Most women don't start to leak colostrum until long after a safe time for an abortion.
