Question bout wicca?

hey... Could only witches cast spells? And im a witch and im afraid that if my friend finds my book of shadows or something that he might read out loud a spell, they only work if a magical being says them tho right?

  1. First of all, Wicca does not equal witch. Wicca is a religion, not a fad. Witchcraft is a practice.

    Secondly, if your friend reads your BOS out loud, so what? You have to have intent behind what you say to make it work. That's the idea behind witchcraft.

    Lastly, there aren't "magical beings." Being a witch makes you no more "special" or better with magic than anyone else. Witches just understand more how magic works and how energy can be used.

    You may want to learn a little more before calling yourself a witch and doing witchcraft.


  2. Witches aren't any more "magical" than anybody else, they're just more aware of their own innate connection with nature, and in some cases, understand how to control that connection to their own ends and desires.

    The idea behind a spell is it's power. The words and rituals are just ways to focus that idea, they don't create anything in themselves. If your friend has enough intent and focus he can cast a spell.
