  1. My OCD is almost ALWAYS worse when I'm tired. I think it's because, when my brain needs a rest, it's harder to get the compulsions done "right"--so I keep trying to do them, as I get more tired and more frustrated.

I don't want to lecture you--I don't even know you--but it sounds like your OCD is under less control than you'd like to believe. This is nothing to be ashamed of; you're no better or worse a person based on the level of your illness. I have severe OCD, and even with treatment it's always going to be a major part of my life. . . but with treatment, it's far more manageable. I suggest talking to your doctor about a low dose of medication and cognitive behavioral therapy. As I got older, my OCD got worse. I wouldn't wish the same for you. Please take care of yourself. Feel free to pm if you'd like.

  2. OCD is OCD at any level. Just because it happens somewhere and not somewhere else doesn't lessen the situation. Im sure if you go to a doctor, they can assist you in getting better. Just imagine how nice it would be to not have to do all those things. They can help you conquer your OCD if you really want to. Think about it.
