I've been reading about airline hourly wages and I was curious how it all works out. What I mean is that the airlines guarantee a certain number of hours a month (seems to be 75-80 hours), but do you only get paid for actual flight hours? Or is it more one of those things where you clock in and get paid for the whole time you're working, such as doing your preflight and all that? I'm sorry if this question seems dumb but I don't know how things work in the airlines.
