hi coy, this is baldie. the way your describing your carb., it sounds like its getting too much gas for the amount of air. try setting the float down some and if its a 2 barrell, see if the other butterflys are opening. the way your saying, it sounds like its flooding itself. when you floor it, its drawing in too much gas and drowning itself out.what you need to do is drop that float down a little. did you tighten the screws under the carb?another thing you could try is test the fuel pump, it could be putting out too much pressure and pushing pass the needle seat.sorry coy, but i cant call you, i dont have long distance on my phone, and i wont give my number out, but if you need some more help, just drop me a line on here.
