Question for Baseball Fans?

If you were a general manager and had the first pick in the draft which of these players would u take to help your mlb team

Babe Ruth

Willie Mays

Ken Griffey

Barry Bonds

Hank Aaron

Cal Ripkin Jr

Tony Gwynn

Well, if all these players are brougth back to their draft status, like they were in high school or college, I would take Willie Mays or Barry Bonds (before he did steroids). Barry was a great player at Arizona State. I would covet him so much. Willie was a natural.

And he had a great attitude and never minded signing autographs for hours after games.

I think I'd pick Babe Ruth. Not only does he have the third most home runs (not to mention the fact that he usually had more home runs than teams in a season), I might also put him in as a pitcher if I needed one.

Well if I'm picking in a draft I assume these guys have still not played in the Majors which means we need to just rely on information from scouting or from college playing. Given that, I would pick Ken Griffey Jr just because I remember he was a monster player in High School before being drafted by Seattle. The other I Don't know how they did during their pre majors days.

Tough choice. Ruth, Mays, Griffey (Jr), and Aaron would be my top choices.

If I was in a draft situation and could only choose one player, and I knew how well they would do throughout their careers, I would probably choose Babe Ruth.
