  1. I love the American / Canadian accents but couldn't tell one from the other.

  2. I often get one of the North American ccents mixed up with one of the Irish accents.

I think it's the north East States, possibly Boston that sounds identical to an Ulster accent.

  3. my sister in law is from rhode island and i found her accent to be very harsh and not very welcoming. i have lots of friends in the southern states, particulary south carolina and i just love the southern accent, especially on the guys. i do have friends in canada too but i find it hard to tell the difference sometimes in their accents and usa accents... but its all good..

  4. Well, this is probably a bit shallow, lol ... but to me all foreign accents are s**y! I especially love the southern drawl .... ;-)

  5. They all sound the same, apart from the Southern USA accents.

  6. I prefer the Canadian accent over the New Yorker.

I like the southern accents, very amusing.

  7. Can I also answer...? Being Swiss, I love the different accents they speak in America/Canada. Remember Bill Clinton? To me, he had/has one of the clearest American accents I have heard. Just make sure you keep those accents since they're part of your culture. By the way: People of South Africa are called South Africans, Africaners is a literate translation that originates from the local language (which is, by the way, close to Dutch).

  8. Love The Texan accent.....

  9. Those accents are allright, the Southern US one is quite a nice sounding accent, actually :D

  10. The texan accent is awsome, and i love canadian accents, The rest of america  dont seem to have an accent anymore because we hear it so much on tv

  11. I like the Canadian accent.

The American ones.. some of them are okay. However theres a couple that sound like nails on a chalkboard to me... I think it's the New York accent and the New Jersey accent.
