Why am I enjoying Olympic basketball far more than Olympic footie?

i am enjoying swimming more than both of those because its over in 2 minutes and then i can go to sleep

i don't want to watch olympic footy because whenever brazil plays ronaldinho's *** just goes jiggle jiggle jiggle, brazil is pretty cool but ronaldinho is just past his time

i am not watching at all, i just check scores *yawns*

basketball? i can't understand it, it's like reading something in ancient languages, i watched for 30 seconds and there were like 5 goals and no one was clapping, if this was football i would have already been crying tears of joy

Because the Olympics are actually important to basketball, not football. Football gets its own World Cup and major tournaments that people actually watch more than the Olympics, not to mention all the other major tournaments. Besides, a country's best players don't play in the Olympics and not many countries come along anyway.

Hey, you're not the only one. I'm watching swimming, volleyball and gymnastics, Olympic football is dull.

Because Olympic footie contains mainly U-23 players with only a few well known,over 23 players. You know the names of most of the basketball players,but not the footballers.

Because the ony time you get international basketball is at the olympics.

With football you have the world cup, euro cup etc... which actually mean somthing. Olympic football is a joke.
