Question for Heroes fans - Why didn't Hiro behead Skylar?

Question

Surely all the Heroes knew that a sword through the stomach wouldn't kill him. I managed to watch Season One online last week and couldn't believe it when Skylar was cornered by the Heroes and was "killed". Then to appear a couple of episodes along in the next season.

Well I he was just doing what Isaac's comic showed him to do. The comic showed him stabbing Sylar in the stomach, so that's what he did.

As Sheila says, he did what he saw in the comic book.  It also takes a lot more strength to decapitate someone than to stab through soft tissue.  Hiro had also said repeatedly that he didn't want to turn into a cold killer like the future version of himself, so even trying decapitation would have been crossing a line for him.

because if he had then Sylar wouldn't be able to reappear in season two. He is one of the main characters & although he is the  one that most of us hate he is needed for the plot!!  There are still some powers which he hasn't 'stolen'!
