Question for Hummer owners?

I am considering purchasing a H2 SUT. My friends have been giving grief about gas and other stuff since I mentioned this to them. I am not worried about the gas, or I wouldn't be looking at them. My question to you is, do you get grieve from people since you purchased one? Are they jealous, or is this just people I know.

You do know that an H2 is just a Chevy Tahoe with a gaudy body on it; right? People that dis you for driving an H2 are not jealous; just better informed consumers.

The Tahoe/Suburban series are about $20,000.00 cheaper and are better looking vehicles.

I just bought and H3 two weeks ago.  And love it to death. I am originally a sports car fanatic, but the hummer is growing on me each day I own it.  I did and still do get friends and people bringing up the GAS topic. And to be honest it's not bad at all. Just the same as any mid size suv.  And dude, this is just my 2 cents, but if your mind is set on it and if YOU like it then get it!  Some who gave me c**p about it although are stating a mute point and just trying to be considerate opinion about it are also people who drive your typical CLONE cars that every NORmal person would have.  I have owned over 32 cars and all are unique in some sort of way.  If gas is not issue for you then I say ignore the people who are not giving you c**p about it and buy it.  And for the guy above who stated his opinion.. What was the point of your answer?  You basically just made it obvious that the HUMMER is not your cup of tea .  And to throw my 2 Cents, I pref fer my H3 over any other truck that GM has whether the case that my car;s frame is based off on another GM vehicle.  IT's still a hummer and I don't see any other GM trucks Vids on YouTube doing what ANY of the Hummer line cars can do.  So anyways, all this is my opinion, and not to steer you towards something I personally like.  So BLAH!  lol
