My kid, who is ten years old and is heading to the USA on tourist visa.

He is living in a non-English speaking country. I want to send him to

the USA for learning English. Where can I send him for English learning. Please give me addresses, web sites, email addresses, tel.

nos. and addresses of those place, helpful for my kid in locating

sources for learning English. Thanks a lot.

  1. Can you tell us what state and area he will be in?  There are resources (like tutoring centers, children's centers, etc.) that are available in many large cities but not in small towns.

    Honestly, he'll pick up a lot just by being around people who speak it, but if you can connect him with someone who can work specifically with teaching him the language - I would suggest somewhere like Kumon or Sylvan tutoring centers - it would be very beneficial for him.

    Also, who will he be staying with?  Are they fluent in English?  Staying with a family who will immerse him in the language and culture will help him learn it very, very quickly.
