Question for Maine drivers who know a lot.. lol...?

Well a month ago I got my drivers permit (I'm 15) and I've kept in nowhere but my purse. Unfortunately, during a festival this past weekend I believe it fell out of my purse while I was reaching in there and moving stuff around to get money. I know I didn't take it out and put it somewhere because I do NOT take it out of my purse. I'm a responsible person and I take it seriously, I don't even take it out to show anyone.

ANYWAYS, MY QUESTION IS.... can I get a new permit somehow? Or will it take forever? I went to Mullen's driving school and I do have the little blue paper that certifies that I completed the class and earned my permit. Can I use that to get a new one or will it take a long time? Anyone who's familiar with Maine laws/ rules would be ideal to answer this question. : )

  1. I'm not from Maine but I'm guessing that all you have to do is take your certificate of completing the class to the DMV and the should be able to issue you a new one for a small fee.
