Are you aware that a petition has been submitted to the state legislature to have the law banning hunting on Sundays repealed?

Since we only have Sundays to safely walk in the woods, or ride our horses in the woods, allowing hunting on Sundays will put all of us that go into the woods with our families in danger.

I have compiled a list of all of the representatives and committee members who are involved in this peitition. It is called House Bill 2315. Let me kow if you want the list to send your letters to these folks to stop the repeal of the ban on hunting on Sundays.

Thank you and happy hiking.

  1. It is legal to hunt in NH even near hiking trails. It is no big deal. Only a few children are killed each year.

  2. Another Mass. Lib. needing Big Brother to take care of her.  Hunting season isn't year round.  Why are you so pompous as to think only your "kind" should only have Sunday access to woodlands?  Hunters pay more to maintain wildlife than I bet you do.  It's so "elitist" of you to blame all hunters for the actions of a few.  What a self righteous person you are!

You give a whole new meaning to the term "Masshole!"

  3. I am aware and this horrifies me. I don't think it will pass because I'm sure there are more people opposed to it then for it but this is Massachusetts so nothing can be taken for granted. I will surely do as you suggest and voice my opposition loudly and clearly. I do hear the hunters on Saturday mornings. I cannot see them. I hear the birds but cannot see them.

I have contacted my state rep opposing this ridiculous bill.
