Which baby carriers have you used, are they good or bad - pros and cons?

I tried a sling last time and that did not suit!! Really looking for a front carrier.

Any recommendations or ideas?

Also were any of you concerned about hip displacement? I was sold a Premaxx sling on the basis that front carriers hold the newborn's legs apart and it's an unnatural position which can cause some damage to their hips. What do you think?

Baby Bjorn all the way, we bought the "original" but I'm sure all of them are good. There shouldn't be any problem with hip displacement as long as your baby has the recommended weight, for our carrier it's 3.5kg (had to wait a month as our girl was on the small side).
