Question for Native Alaskan's?

How do you feel about drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge? Would it help America's dependence on foriegn oil, how about the animals? Just would like your opinion. Thanks!

  1. I think that it would be bad because it kills animals, but the US should wait until all of the reserves in texas are gone


  2. I think it's rotten. another dead end energy policy intended solely to put more money in the oil companies pockets. it wouldn't do a thing to help supply or price. in fact the government would just offset the gain by selling more hummers and easing fuel standards

    Also just look at all the spills each year. and the Exxon Valdez disaster (which Exxon got away with scott free?) Do we really want a place as beautiful as ANWR destroyed for a tiny bit more oil?

    They rant and rave about getting off of foreign oil, yet they refuse to do anything to increase efficiency or use more alternative fuels. the president just vetoes everything like that which comes his way.
