Question for New yorkers!! Need directions!!?

I am going on a trip to New york tomorrow and we are planning to go to

woodbury common outlet mall. I heard it was outside of New York, and i was wondering if anyone knew how to get there?

We would be staying near the Empire state building, so directions from

there would be best. Thank you very much :)

yeah. go to the port authority bus terminal on 42nd street and 8th avenue . inside you will be able to catch a bus to woodbury commons. round trip will prolly be $40. but you will get a big coupon book. it takes about 45 munutes to get there. have fun.

If you are driving, go as far west as you can and turn right.  At 57th street the highway begins.  Get on it and continue North through the Bronx and Lower Westchester county The name of the road will change from the Henry Hudson Parkway to the saw mill.  Look for the signs for the Tappan Zee Bridge and cross it.  Now you are on the NYS thruway.  Get off at exit 17 where you will see signs for the mall.  Once you cross the Bridge it will be about 30 miles.

I went to woodbury two weeks ago, i live on long island. I know two ways to get there: 1). take the bus from 42st. This is how i got there b4. it costs $40/person. 2). subway and taxi. you do need to take taxi after you get off the subway.

Go over the GW bridge 80w and take  17N.  I think. Its been awhile

Woodbury Commons is opposite the Harriman exit on the NYS Thruway @ rt 17 in Central valley. I'm sure there is a bus going there from the Port Authority at 41 st and 8 av. But I always drove. It's a giant outlet, so leave time.
