I will not go into major detail, but one of my cars tire blew out. An officer came to help me put my spare on. I thought he would than leave, but he was kind enough to follow me to a local tire place to make sure i got there ok. This officer went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of. I am known to make very good cupcakes and i would love to make some for him and his dept. My question..can i take home made stuff to the police station or does it have to be store bought stuff? thanks

  1. I'm a Deputy Sheriff in Michigan. You can bring in homemade cupcakes no one will think its poison. Just bring enough for everyone were not supposed to take personal gifts

  2. sure, you can bring homeade stuff. make sure you have his name and give it to him personally.

  3. If it were me I would just buy store bought stuff.  I'm sure you are a decent person, but we had an incident here in VA where someone tried to poison a Suffolk police officer in an incident similiar to that.  Dealing with that line of work, sometimes you have no idea what exactly someone might try to do to you.

  4. Actually, a thank you letter sent to his Chief would probably be even more appreciated.

  5. I think it'd be wise to buy stuff from the store. You don't want them to be suspicious of poisoned food or something.

  6. You can bring home made stuff. Police stations are full of home made lunches :P Just make sure you give it to him and they know where it came from so they don't just have cup cakes randomly appear.
