Question for Puerto Rican people Only!?

Ok im puertorican so dont get mad at me. But I know so many puerto ricans (atleast here in PA/NJ) that only come to the US to get SSI & welfare. This is horrible to say about my own ppl but Why?? My husbands Dad lives most of the time in PR & a little time in Philly so he can collect SSI & he lies & acts like he is crazy so he can get it. & he lies & says he is a permanent resident of PA but he is really only part time. My cousin moved to Allentown to get welfare. She child has a disability so she gets more $ than most welfare ppl, than on top of it she lied & said she is depressed so she could get more & they wont bug her to work. They even bought her a car & she bought a GPS with her cash asst. I know things arent great in PR but if we learn how to get off our butts & work harder we can do better on our own. I work so hard just to live the same way($ wise) as these lazy people. These same ppl are the ones that say PR should be a state- why? so they can get free $? What do u think?
