Question for Republicans?

Why is that Sarah Palin, Gulliani etc. kept bashing on the democrats? that is all I heard from their mouths, like Gulliani saying the Obama has no experience, nada. Shouldn't they talk about how they will fix this mess what Bush has made, or important issues like health care, or how McCain will fix the economy; all I heard from their mouths was bashing Obama and why is that Gulliani keeps mentioning September 11? what does Sep 11 have to do with the elections? I know September 11th was a terrible thing, but why do Republicans keep mentioning it, we don't want to go back to that day.

according to one cnn analyst, obama spent 1/3 of his own speech attacking mccain and the GOP. i watched both conventions and the dems had a field day going after mccain and bush. it is ok to be a dem but you cannot be blind to your own parties actions while accusing another of doing it. and G. was the mayor of n.y., clinton did it in the primaries.non-issue.

I don't think you really paid attention too well. Also I believe the Democrats at there convention went after the Republicans didn't they? Oh I get it. The Dem's can attack and the Republicans shouldn't do anything, that's right. As far as 911 goes, did it ever occur to you that we are in conflicts because of that day? and possibly future conflicts. Its a real important part of what and why things are going on. If we act like you and bury our head in the sand we will inevitably get attacked again, then what? did the hole deeper? Some one and wake up!!!!!

I agree with you completely. As much as I enjoy sarcastic "zingers", the candidates are not winning my support with them.

Mudslinging is an inalienable truth in politics. I would hope it didn't happen but it does. now we just have to see past it. *shrug*

First I've heard Obama and Biden bashing McCain and Palin ALL DAY. Second, 9/11 was planned completely under Clinton's watch. He could've killed Bin Laden.

Classic slight of hand - when you don't want people to focus on the issues that you have no answers for, you divert their attention to something else (like bashing your opponent).

I personally hold a solemn memorial each year on 9/11, but not for the people or the towers or any of those types of tragedies.

I hold a memorial service for the US constitution, since that was the day it began to die a slow death under the Dubya Repub regime.

They do not have any fresh ideas they are trying that fear thing again. And the truth is we are in more danger know countries hate us if you listen to his speech last night it was all about him being a Pow and I am so d**n tried of hearing how he is a Pow h**l give it a rest we know how are you going to lower gas prices what about people loosing there homes what are you going to do about health insurance all I here is drill baby drill that is his plan well I guess the economy don't matter to him because he owns nine homes and his wife spends 500 thousand a month
