Question:

Question for Ron Paul or Bob Barr supporters?

How frustrating is it for you? Seriously, we all know that a third party candidate doesn't have much chance to win. But I totally understand the reasons for supporting both of these candidates. I assume that Obama is very far from you, politically. Do you get tempted to vote McCain simply to stop Obama? Or have you reached the point where you're tired of just voting for the lesser of two evils? Plus, I understand how angry some are at the supposed conservative party becoming so involved in big gov't.

I pretty much just want to know your opinions on the whole political scene.

  1. I'm very much a Ron Paul supporter and have been from the get go, and therefore since Dr. Paul is out of the race, I am a supporter of Bob Barr.

While I do get tempted occassionally to vote for McCain just to put the stuff on the Democratic party, I believe that the Revolution and Campaign for Liberty are not something that should be abandoned and there are still plenty of ways we can make a statement.

I a person of high values and morals and can't do something or put my vote behind something that I don't believe is the right thing.  I will continue to spread the word about the Campaign for Liberty.

  2. I don't get sick of voting libertarian. Their views and ideals are things that I have ALWAYS believed in. Even before I knew about the republican party I have felt this way. The only time I get upset is when I see that the two candidates McCain and Obama have forgotten to place themselves on the ballot in Texas and Bob Barr is the only one on there. This upsets me because they will actually break the rules and be allowed on. It is an unfair practice that needs to be stopped.

If they needed to be on the ballot then they would have made sure that they were on there.

  3. I'll be voting 3rd party for the first time in my life (I'm a Ron Paul Republican).  I consider the major parties to have not truly represented the American people for a while, but as a Republican, this year the party went way too far.

It is time to break the matrix.

If everyone who said they 'would' vote for a lesser known candidate if that candidate actually had a chance did vote that way, those candidates WOULD have a chance.

In any event, this year I can't stomach the two presumed nominees.

  4. Sure it's frustrating, frustrating that most people won't even take the time to research the lesser known candidates to see what they have to offer.

I will never vote for the lesser of the two evils again. I will only vote my conscience from now on. If I can feel good about my vote when I leave the booth, that is what is important for me. It's my vote and I can do with it as I chose.

I will not vote for McCain just to stop Obama. I don't agree with McCain on alot of issues. Nor will I vote for Obama,he is about as far away from me on the issues as one could get.

I'll be voting for none of the above this time around. My vote will go to a third party candidate that I can believe in.
