  1. fantasy, sci-fi, christian fiction.....

fantasy- cuz its easier for me to imagine. i tend to think of those types of things when i write and stuff and, i dunno, i just like it.

sci-fi- cuz i love space and all that space travel stuff.

christian fiction- cuz they have amazing romances (they rnt stupidly fluffy- usually- and all that stuff) and they have some pretty good fantasy and adventure and mystery books.

    oops. i frgt the authors/books.

    dee henderson- mysteries

    shannon hale- fantasy

    lori wick- romance

    kathy tyres- sci-fi

eva ibbotson- fiction --her teen books are good, as well as her kids, but i dont think ur really wanting kids books

  2. I read fantasy, things like:

    Harry Potter by J.K Rowling.

The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien.

    Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.

The chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis.

    Annie Rice vampire books.

    Horror like Stephen King books.

Classics, and some other kinds of books.

Why I like that genre, well mostly I love fantasy, because I can escape my world in it, I have a very hyperactive imagination and fantasy helps me develop and indulge myself in these worlds created by my own head, hypothetical worlds of course, I do realise that, but it's nice to have the chance of escaping there when under stress.

  3. I tend to read a lot of fantasy and realistic fiction.

The Twilight series, and The Host by Stephenie Meyer

The Looking Glass Wars trilogy by Frank Beddor (An Alice in Wonderland spin-off)

    Gone by Michael Grant

    Truancy by Isamu Fukui

This Lullaby, Just Listen, The Truth About Forever, Dreamland, Lock and Key, and That Summer by Sarah Dessen

Th1rteen R3asons Why by Jay Asher

Twisted, and Speak by Laure Halse Anderson

And that's just a few off the top of my head.

    Hope this helps!

  7. I don't know if you need just one genre, but if you do, I mostly read romance. Besides that, I also read historical fiction and fantasy, mainly.

Some books and authors- the Gemma Doyle series by Libba Bray, Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones, Harry Potter by JK Rowling, anything by Donna Jo Napoli, Chris Wooding, Jane Austen...

And explain why I like these genres? Well, I like fantasy because stepping into a completely new world is always thrilling. Historical fiction I like because I'm very intrigued by history in general (though more specifically, ancient history). And I like Romance because I want romance.
